Who runs coolabahly.com?

coolabahly.com is operated by Coolabahly of Mount Barker, South Australia, Australia (email careers@coolabahly.com). By using coolabahly.com or applying through it, you accept these terms. Please stop using the Coolabahly site if you do not accept these terms.

What do the words in the Coolabahly terms mean?

"Coolabahly", "we" and "us" mean the operator. "You" means any person using the Coolabahly website. "Website" means coolabahly.com. An "employer" is a business offering a role, and a "listing" is the description of that role on coolabahly.com.

What Coolabahly does

Coolabahly is a recruitment advertising and introduction service, not an employer. For any role on Coolabahly, the employer decides hiring, contracts, supervision, how the work is organised and pay. An application to Coolabahly is not a job offer and does not make you an employee of Coolabahly.

Listings

Before applying, go through the whole Coolabahly listing: duties, method of work, engagement, eligibility and conditions. Roles can fill or change during recruitment; when Coolabahly learns of this, the listing is updated or removed. If you spot an error, email careers@coolabahly.com and name the role.

Applying

When applying through Coolabahly, provide truthful details and do not apply on another person's behalf without their consent. You must meet eligibility and right-to-work rules for any Coolabahly role. The process is the form followed by a WhatsApp message to Coolabahly HR that you send yourself; email careers@coolabahly.com if WhatsApp is not an option. Employers on Coolabahly may request further information or an interview.

Do I have to pay Coolabahly anything?

Coolabahly does not charge applicants at any point: there is no application, placement, admin or training charge and no deposit. Coolabahly is paid by the businesses that advertise. Nobody from Coolabahly will ask you to purchase crypto, add credit to an account, pay to access work or send money to receive wages. Please report any such request involving a Coolabahly role to careers@coolabahly.com.

How does pay work for Coolabahly roles?

Pay for a Coolabahly role is set by its employer and depends on that role's conditions. Any range mentioned by Coolabahly is a guide, not a guarantee of the upper end. Coolabahly suggests asking the employer for written confirmation of its legal name, what you will do, how you are engaged, how pay is worked out, the likely hours and the payment dates, all before you accept. Coolabahly does not guarantee work, a minimum workload or income.

Accuracy of information

Coolabahly is responsible for its own statements and advertising. Employers are responsible for what they tell Coolabahly and for their duties as employers. If Coolabahly's ads and coolabahly.com disagree on something important, Coolabahly will check and correct whichever is wrong. No general disclaimer from Coolabahly cancels a specific statement or your legal rights.

How does Coolabahly handle my information?

The Coolabahly Privacy Policy explains how applications are handled. Records held by WhatsApp or an employer are governed by those parties' policies, not by this Coolabahly policy.

Use of the website

Do not pretend to be someone else, send fake applications, use other people's details without consent, upload harmful content or disrupt the operation of coolabahly.com.

Can I copy content from coolabahly.com?

Feel free to read and save pages from coolabahly.com for your own job hunting. Other uses of Coolabahly material need the rights holder's permission. Photos on coolabahly.com are licensed stock images and do not show real applicants or employers.

How do WhatsApp and email fit in with Coolabahly?

Links and buttons on coolabahly.com open third-party apps such as WhatsApp and email, which Coolabahly does not control.

Availability

Coolabahly cannot guarantee it, or that a role stays open while you apply. Coolabahly may change or take the website offline without notice.

Your legal rights

Nothing in the Coolabahly terms removes, limits or alters a right, guarantee or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any law that cannot be excluded.

Liability

Subject to those rights, Coolabahly is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of coolabahly.com. None of this limits Coolabahly's liability for fraud or for anything the law says cannot be limited.

What if there is a mistake on coolabahly.com?

Typos and technical errors can happen, and Coolabahly corrects them once aware.

What if I break the Coolabahly terms?

If you breach these terms, for instance by applying with another person's details without consent, you are responsible for resulting loss that is reasonably foreseeable, unless Coolabahly caused it.

Events beyond control

Coolabahly is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as hosting or messaging outages.

Eligibility

To apply through Coolabahly you should be an adult based in Australia with work rights. Individual employers can add requirements, which Coolabahly shows in the listing or HR explains on WhatsApp. Where an application plainly does not meet the stated requirements, Coolabahly may not forward it, and you can ask Coolabahly for the reason.

What is the Coolabahly training?

Where a role comes with online training, it is supplied by the employer or organised by Coolabahly and costs applicants nothing. The Coolabahly training shows how the work is done, but finishing it is not a promise of engagement, and the employer stays responsible for the work.

Links to and from coolabahly.com

Yes, you may link to the home page of coolabahly.com as long as the link does not suggest Coolabahly endorses you or your site. Coolabahly is not responsible for other websites that link to coolabahly.com, or for sites you reach from a link on coolabahly.com. If you find a link that misrepresents Coolabahly or its roles, please let Coolabahly know at careers@coolabahly.com so it can be followed up.

What does Coolabahly expect from employers on coolabahly.com?

Coolabahly requires employers to list roles truthfully, comply with Australian employment law, provide written terms before work starts and never request payment from applicants. Listings or employers that fall short can be removed by Coolabahly; send any concern to careers@coolabahly.com.

What if part of the Coolabahly terms is invalid?

Should any clause of these Coolabahly terms be unenforceable, it is removed and the remaining clauses stand. A delay by Coolabahly in enforcing a term is not a waiver.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with the Coolabahly Privacy Policy and Compliance Statement, are the entire agreement about your use of coolabahly.com.

How will Coolabahly contact me?

Coolabahly will send notices to the WhatsApp number or email you applied with. Send notices to Coolabahly at careers@coolabahly.com.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of South Australia, without affecting any mandatory protections you have.

Questions and changes

Email careers@coolabahly.com and mention the role. When Coolabahly updates these terms, the new version appears here with a fresh date and earlier dealings keep their existing rights.
